Amazing turnkey project in Saint-Bruno, on the South Shore of Montreal. The customer wanted a solarium that looked modern.

Project details:

• Isolated floor (R32) with 6 piles
• Construction and installation of a 4 seasons sunroom:
  • Fiberglass structure covered with PVC
  • White interior, black exterior
  • Wall height: 13′ tapering to 10′
  • Casement windows with fixed transoms in double-glazed glass, thermos, Low E, Argon, Energy Star rated
  • Box to accommodate a fireplace, fire code gypsum finish ready for ceramic, exterior finish in CanExel
  • Glass front wall, insulated side walls
  • Cathedral roof 10″, R42 insulation
  • Exterior finish in shingles, interior finish in gypsum, joints, and paint
  • Beam cover in gypsum, joints, and paint
• Modification of the house roof to accommodate the cathedral roof of the solarium
• Removal of the existing window and creation of an opening down to the floor
• Electrical work and heating
• Installation of gutters on the solarium and connection to the house
• Sealing of the basement window under the solarium
